A Piece of Art that you Love

I love art that is either extremely restrained or very passionate.
When I was in Canada, I went to the exhibition of a Canadian artist, Christopher Pratt, and really enjoyed it. window

A Line in a Song or Line of Poetry that Reaches Your Core

And when all the world came back
And the light crept up between the shutters
And you heard the sparrows in the gutters,
You had such a vision of the street
As the street hardly understands;

-TS Eliot- Prelude 3

An Experience in Nature that was Really Special and/or Spiritual

I have kind of mythologised my experiences walking in the Barrington Tops area, I just remember walking though a misty rainforest with tall, still trees, and feeling like the soil was exhaling- it was just after rain and it smelt wonderful.

The Movie that Changed the Way you saw the World.

movies don't usually change me that much. Maybe they do, but i can't think of one.

A Piece of Music That Makes You Cry

Now that i think about it, I have got to say the biggest '80's cliche- the wind beneath my wings- Even when I used to hear it outside funerals, I would cry- because it is about this idealised hero- and i love that image of the idealised hero. Sometimes I love to cry and to brood in the sorrow of loss...that's why i like to read tragic stories
